I hope you saw the new movie by Clint Eastwood about the heros of Iwo Jima. In a few seens these big power business men give there cards to the service men to come and see them after the war. When our heros tried to contact these men who were from Yale in the movie they could not get a job! all the hero's were left with very low jobs and had a hard time with life. Our heros fight and the CEO of the military industrial complex reap all the money as the men die and then when they come back heros they are ignored.

I have not seen the movie yet but I did read the book "Flags Of Our Fathers." After the famous picture of the flag raising the battle of Iwo Jima was far from being over. Just for your info the real heroes are the men who died on that piece of crap island.

I've both read the book and seen the movie. I do recommend both very highly. The movie is out of sequence, especially to the book (which is in near-chronological order), but it is very powerful (I never shed tears at any movie and I almost cried at this one). It was violent and realistic when it needed to be but at least they didn't show what happened to "Iggy" in the movie (if you read the book, you know what I'm talking about). It's the first movie in months that I've seen and I would definitely go see it again. Hope this helps.

i've got the two study the e book and considered the action picture. I do advise the two very rather. The action picture is out of sequence, quite to the e book (that's in close to-chronological order), despite the fact that if that's extremely efficient (I by no skill shed tears at any action picture and that i very almost cried at this one). It grew to become into violent and reasonable whilst it mandatory to be yet a minimum of they did no longer tutor what befell to "Iggy" interior the action picture (in case you study the e book, you recognize what i'm conversing approximately). it extremely is the 1st action picture in months that i've got considered and that i could easily pass see it lower back. wish this facilitates.

Ask Not what we can do for You but what you can do for your country...is the slogan on the bill posters. All legislations should be voted for by the people just as they elect who should be in power...the governments cannot be trusted. They preach to us what they themselves break in the long run. I know the feeling, as an X service man myself. If a soldier dies then his family should be well provided for and not put in some corner and forgotten.

Well, the U.S. has a capitalist economy. It's all up to the individual citizens to help and contribute to war efforts.
