Nobody KNOWS how to do it, until they have experienced it. I don't care if you are 45 and you just had your first child. Parenting is trial and error.

It all depends on the individual, how mature you are, and what family and friends you have. Teenagers may be getting pregnant earlier than a generation ago, but not much earlier nor more often. A couple of generations ago, people may have been more judgmental, and if you were pregnant, you might have been regarded as "careless", irresponsible", and the like. Teens in earlier generations were often shipped off to stay with an Aunt or someone similar, and advised to give the child up. I can tell you this : it's a really hard thing to be a single parent at whatever age. Life is difficult enough wothout adding to the difficulties. A baby isn't a toy. A baby can't give love back until about one year old and then only a little. It's the teen mother who has to constantly give love and caring with no immediate hope of return. More teens aren't getting pregnant. Society is just more generally open about this knowledge;-)

Yep, I've noticed that too. Apparently sex education is not giving the "abstinence" theory correctly. They must be making it sound good or something. Why don't young people realize that they have so much potential as a youth to society than becoming a parent when they still live with their parents? I mean, children should not have and raise children. No offense to anyone tho cuz there are some young people ready for parenthood, but most of them aren't.

There is a lot wrong with it
teenagers are only children themselves
they are only just starting out in the world so to speak
they don't need to be saddled with a baby!!
Babies are not Barbie Dolls

There's plenty wrong with it, like how do you raise a baby when you haven't got a clue how to do it?
