When Jesus died on the cross it is stated that the ground opened and all the dead who died while Jesus was alive walked rose from the dead and walked among the living for three days in view of everyone and than were taking up to heaven.
Hence why he has followers 2000 years later.
The Bible also calls for the second coming of Jesus accompanied by the second resurrection.
Is this a common belief?

An answer from a muslim here;

Basically no, Islam holds Jesus to have been a messenger and a prophet of God and the Messiah. Muslim understanding of the Trinity rejects the mainstream Christian view that Jesus was the Son of God, regarding belief in the Trinity as a blasphemous denial of tawhid, the singularity of God. The Qur'an states repeatedly that Jesus was only a human

As for the crucifiction Islam stipulates that Jesus was rescued and raised bodily by god. God transformed Jesus' body to another person, probably Judas Iscariot to appear exactly like Jesus to deceive the Romans and be crucified in Jesus' stead. The basis of this belief is one verse in the Qur'an:

"[The Pharisees] said (in boast), 'We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah';- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them . . . Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself . . ." (4:157-158)

I hope the above answers your question

First of all some religions are false religion and don't actually believe in Jesus Christ.
Not all the dead but those dead did rise from the grave and went into town as a witness to the power of the christ and that he truly was the son of God. the temple curtain ripped into and many people became believers. So it was a sign to all those living at that time and some died 100 years later. It doesn't say they went to heaven at that time and in fact the bible says in Col 1:18 calls him the first born from the dead. He went to heaven before anyone. Acts 1: first few verses says that Jesus didn't go to heaven for 40 days after he was resurrected.
It does show in the last days that there will be a heavenly resurrection. But that was many years away from that time.
Actually in our time.

Muslims do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus. When Jesus comes back in a cloud of glory as mentioned in Revelations, he will gather his followers and bring them back to heaven. Muslims do not believe in the second coming either.

Yes.

The Quran having given respect and dignity to Jesus Christ as a true messenger of God, mentions that God allowed Jesus to ascend to him.

In the texts of the Prophet Muhammad muslims refer to as hadeeth the following is stated:

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace be upon him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. Sunnan Abu Dawud 37:4310

For us, the coming of Christ wil be a miracle from God and God knows best.

definite they do have self assurance that Jesus will return and that there is a judgment day aka the reckoning. that is not Jesus on my own; i think in Shi'a Islam Jesus is accompanied via the 12th Imam (The Mahdi), while in Sunni Islam Muhammad and Jesus return. a minimum of that is how i think of it works.

We believe he didn't die on the cross..but God saved him from the Roman ..and he didn't die at all.
in fact he was taking up before the crusifiction and still alive till the judgment day..then he will come back to kill the anti christ and save us.

"woman are apparitions and sexual energy is pent-up into a ball of rage which is actually a resource for the Islamic war machine. The Quran gives you enemies to hate and the Islamic state unleashes that pent up sexual energy into the face of the unbeliever."
