United we stand, divided we fall. Sorry to say, we are a divided nation. We may yet stand, but we will yet fall if we do not unite under the flag of america.

America is losing the values that made it great. This nation was founded on religion there no denying it but that is exactly what people are trying to do. They do not want to have any references to religion anywhere because it will "offend people" i do not know how it really could. Americans are becoming lazy our value of hardwork is going away. There are those who dont want to acknowlege being a citizen of this country. Our citizenship in this country is a privelige NOT a right it was earned in blood. There are many heroes in American history and people who put others before their own selfish wants. There are those who did not want riches but just freedom for all. As somebody else already said "United we stand but divided we fall" unfortunately we are beginning to become divided between the liberals and the conservatives and democrats and republicans christian or muslim or whatever the case may be. This country was formed when groups of people came together for the greater good of all. They were not in it for self gain. They put away their differences and united under one cause freedom.

Yeah, like most great nations, I think America will indefinitely crumble. Maybe not anytime soon, but it will either be destroyed or severely weakened to the point of becoming a second-world country. Then there's the melting pot thing. Just picture America like a modern day Rome, including the imperialism (replace that with our efforts to spread democracy) and militarism (we have embassies in every country in the world, not to mention the power the president has to invade a country without Senate approval for 60 days).

History teaches us that all great nations reach a peak and start a decline to mediocrity, most of them because of sloth and corruption and decadency. Our decline is speeding up because we are getting away from God and good moral values.
