That would depend on many factors including the engine size (472cid, 500cid) and the condition of the engine and carb itself. I had a 1973 Cad CDV with the 472 V8 in it and prior to the rebuild I was getting about 6 city and 8 hwy. Once the engine and carb had been rebuilt that improved to 9 city and 12 hwy.

I have a 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood, and I average around 13 miles per gallon, so for our car? I'm thinking around 8-10 mpg.

It should get better than it really does. It has a big tank, too.
To my best recollection, anywhere between 10 and 13 MPG. Moms had a 500 cubic inch V8, with a back seat the size of an H1 Hummer. Very good and well-built cars, too. Congrats!
