If your not going to keep her then contact a feral cat rescue group in your area. You can look on petfinder.com and find a list of rescue groups where you live.
Also, a previous user told you not to take it to the SPCA but to the Humane Society instead because the SPCA will kill her. I have volunteered for both organizations and neither one of them are no kill shelters. If a home isn't found in a reasonable amount of time then they MAY euthanize her. However if she's as cute as you say then she will most likely find a home.
How big is she? If she is to small to be spayed, then most shelters will euthanize her regardless. They don't keep animals that can't be spayed/neutered because those animals can't be adopted out.
If you have any more questions you can email me if you'd like.

You just don't give enough details to help with suggestions. Since you have named the cat and she is in your house can I assume that you want to keep her? Have you never had a cat before?
You can go to www.littlebigcat.com. Dr Jean Hovfe has an article there titled, "Base Camp - How to Prepare for your New Cat". You should pick up some tips there and learn about something you might have overlooked in making Misty feel at home in your house.

Yes, take her to the vet. While you are there ask them if they can help you find her a home. Put an ad in the paper, also put 1 on the net. petfinders.com. Talk about her to friends and neighbors.

Take a picture of it and put up found flyers. If no one claims it within' a week or so, you can commit to keeping it, you can sell or give it away, or you can give it to the nearest animal shelter. Good luck finding it a good home.

you shouldn't get too attached to the cat first and then you can take the cat to say an aspca shelter and they will keep the cat for a week and if nobody claims the cat if you want you can keep the cat. Good luck.

take her to a local vet, I'm sure her owner is worried sick about her... That's what I would hope someone would do if my cat got out.
btw... same thing happened to me... I named her Moe... and her owners don't take care of her... so I feed her... she's a happy cat...but I can't let her inside for feat what my other 2 cats and 3 dogs would do to her :)

Feed it to the dog???
Shave it clean and take a lot of pictures and then post the pics on Doggy porn sites???
OK, really....how did this cat just come into your house? Do you always leave the doors open and let stray animals/people wander in?
It's probably your nieghbor's cat, put it back outside and let it go back home.
