If you have to seek help with coming to a decision then you are definitely not ready. When the time is finally right, you will just know it and everything will fall into place.

what do you do? Tell her how you feel about when it comes to marriage. Eventually when you are with someone you will feel when you are ready. I figure is hard to find a successful marriage. What is a successful marriage?
Is it you wanna spent the rest of your life with that special someone?

Long marriage(many years being together) may lead to faded love or increase the feelings even more because of the ups and downs both of
person went through. So Marriage is a big step, also it can be a scary one too. Is not about just you two.. is about having kids.. all the expenses. Especially teh differences before having kids and after having kids.

Some may say.. they dont mind getting marry at a young age, but others may want to get marry when they are in their mid 20's instead. That is because usually by then they will have a succesful career or at least a decent job that can handle the expenses for you and your family. Never go with the flow with your gf just bcause she takls about marriage. Speak up the truth... and good luck..

Only you know if your ready or not. If your on here asking then I would say your having doubts. That is not a good way to start off a marriage. Wait until your sure and just tell her " some day ". I dated my husband for 1 year and lived with him for 5 years before we got married. Good Luck and if your ready go for it.

If you take the time too realize that men marry women hoping they won't change, and women marry men hoping they will change and realize that both will be disappointed, you are are at the beginning of considering marriage. When the 2 of you are apart and you feel inside a feeling you never felt before, you are then moving toward marriage. If you are not completely committed, faithful, trusting, patient, understanding and sincere NOW, it probably won't last.

No offense, but if you have to ask, then you are not ready.

Only YOU will know when you are ready to settle down and start a family. Don't agree to get married and start a family just to make your girl happy, it will only end bad as you will resent her later on for "forcing" you to settle down. Just talk to her about it and tell her your true feelings, if she loves you as much as she seems, since she wants to get married I take it she loves you a lot, then she will respect you for being honest and understand your feelings.

good luck.

Do not get love and marriage confused. They are two different things. I would not marry every girl I was in love with. Let her keep on talking. Get married when you are ready to, not just because she is ready.

If you arent ready, dont go there. Marriage is such a big deal. People dont realize how serious kids and marriage are, and that is why there are so many folks getting divorced these says. Tell her that she needs to chill with all that marriage talk.

Yeah, you just know. I have been with the same girl on and off for a few years now, and basically it's just like I started thinking about marrying her, and that's all I could think about for like, a week straight, so I asked her, and now im engaged!

So basically, you just have a gut feeling.

I don't remember all of the quote, but essentially, "When the health or well-being of another becomes more important than your own; then the state of love exist." I've been there, I'm now a widow. It is true, you don't appreciate what you have till you've lost it.

When you feel that there is no one else and have no curiosity about anyone else or other relationships. You should feel the same way as the person may feel about you. If you feel different then you need to have a talk with her. Communication is very important.
