There are two doors: one leads to death, and the other to utopia. There is a robot in front of each; one robot always lies, and the other always tells the truth. You are allowed to ask only one question (but it can be a compound question - in essence you can only obtain one answer) and the same question is asked to each robot. What question do you ask to survive?

You cannot touch the robots in any way, and when you open a door, you must go through.

hahahaha Labyrinth, yeah.
So you ask one robot, "would the other robot tell me this is the door to Utopia?"
If you're at the door to Utopia and talking to the lying robot, the other robot would tell you you're at the door to Utopia, but the lying robot would lie and say it wouldn't. If you're talking to the truth-telling robot, the other robot would lie and say the door wasn't to Utopia, and the truth-telling robot would tell you that truthfully, so either way, if you're in front of the Utopia door, the robot you ask will say No. And if you're in front of the death door, either robot will say yes.

If you are an honest robot, please tell me which door leads to utopia. Reason : the honest robot will surely show the door which lead to uotpia. And the "always lie robot" will also surely show the door leads to utopia because he will lie that he is honest.

Depends. Which robot is in front of which door? Because the truth-telling robot might be guarding the death one.

you ask this: "if i asked the other robot where utopia is, what would he say?"
If you are asking the honest guy, he will know that the other robot would point at the wrong door, and point to that one.
If you are speaking to the untruthful one, he will know the othe guy would tell the truth, but he points you towards the wrong door. Basically, whichever door they point to, go to the other one!!
Cheers!

Well it wouldn't work to ask which of the doors is the one to utopia or which lies because you won't know which it is that is telling to truth so I don't know but I want the answer!

You say to one robot,"If I ask the other robot if his door leads to Utopia/death, will he lie to me and tell me ,"Yes/No"?
If the robot you ask is the truthful one , he can only say "Yes, he will lie" and if it's the liar, it will only say, "No, he won't"
Or just ask one of them, "If I asked the other guy about you, would he tell me you're a liar?"
The honest one would say "yes"
and the liar would say, "No"
