I have fibro, and this is the best description I have heard - when I heard it, I understood immediately! I think anyone who has fibro will agree:
Remember the last time you had the flu or a bad cold - your body ached, you were exhausted, and you could not concentrate - that is fibro.
Add in Irritable Bowel, Irritable Bladder, depression, restless leg syndrome, depression, and tender points that hurt so much your pet can rub against you.
I hope you don't have this. If you do have it, my best advice is to see a massage therapist.
Blessed be,
Gypsy

I am a pharmacy technician and this is what the symptoms you can have:
What Are the Symptoms?
Although no two people with fibromyalgia experience the same symptoms the exact same way, people with fibromyalgia do experience similar symptoms.
Pain is the most prominent symptom. It usually involves "tender points" on the body where pain seems the greatest.
Fatigue and sleep disturbances occur in about 90% of people who have fibromyalgia.
Depression and anxiety is common in many people with fibromyalgia.
Cognitive difficulties or fibro fog can occur, characterized by feelings of confusion, lapses in memory, word mix-ups and difficulty concentrating.
Migraine headaches, abdominal pain, bloating or alternating constipation and diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome), skin color changes, tingling limbs, jaw pain (temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder), and restless leg syndrome are common.

your body hurts all over like you have the flu.you have tender spots on your body, that when touched ,feel like it's a 2 x 4 going through you.you feel exhausted all the time because you can't sleep for the pain.it affects you in so many ways that unless you have it, you wouldn't understand.the list goes on and on.I was diagnosed 13 yrs ago, fought 3 yrs for my disability.I wouldn't know how to act if i had one day without this pain or to just be able to get out of bed and and feel like i have had sleep. It's living hell.
