No, he 'found Jesus' well before he was directed to politics, now of course were another religion vastly more popular it is possible he would down play his Christianity, and make token gestures to the Buddhist peoples, much like Hilary is making token gestures to the Christians now. but he like her would still follow the faith that they currently do.

Evil is a big word to throw around simple because they hold a different view of the world than you do. by making him evil, you obviously cast yourself as good. and that puts you and those who believe as you do in a position to take actions against him and justify those actions to yourself and any higher power you happen to hold dear., which if i recall, sounds an awful lot like what you denigrate W for doing.

Dear Kefer39--George Bush hardly "runs with the crowd"!!! It's the "crowd" that would like to crucify him. He has paid a huge price to embrace Christ and to testify of God's faithfulness to him. George Bush is a righteous man, a forgiven man, a "loved by God" man, a chosen man, a kind man, a genuine man, an honest man. And this man is our President. Christ lives in his heart and has filled the emptiness with Himself. The emptiness is gone...no room for a life-less Buddah. He would be saddened to hear of your hate. He would be disappointed.

If Buddhism was the main religion in the US, Bush probably wouldn't have been elected in the first place.

(Have you heard about the new book Tempting Faith, by David Kuo? Former Bush aide addressing pretty much your exact concern...)

Bush is clearly a decent person. Not the smartest, but a very very decent person. You are obviously not.
