Okay, I've heard a million Christians telling people that have sinned that if they accept Jesus their sins will be forgiven. Also, when Christians sin they always mention that Jesus died for their sins so they will still go to heaven. So a Christian can kill, steal, rape, and maim yet if they accept Jesus as their savior and beg for his forgiveness everytime they sin, they are not going to go to hell? What about Christians that commit fornication? Every night after they do it, if they beg Jesus for forgiveness and accept him as their savior, will they be forgiven each time? Don't you Christians lie because I've heard many of you assuring people that they wouldn't go to hell for committing these sins if they accept Jesus.
Yet me, an unbeliever no matter how many sins I don't commit will burn in hell fur sure just for my disbelief?

Okay, so according to some of you, those 60% or so of Christians that willing fornicate everyday aren't really Christians and will be punished? Wow, that is a lot of people. Actually, it has to be more around 75%. Lol.

If you really want answers, go to the answer book the Bible. Read it for yourself and see first hand what it has to say, but you asked for an answer, and I will try and answer the best I can.
In the book of John, Jesus Christ said this,"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me". So if you ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness and to be Lord of your life, then you are what Christians call,'Saved'. Once you are truly saved you belong to God and he never will leave you or forsake you no matter what. If you sin, it doesn't mean you are going to hell, but will have to answer one day for your sins to God. Kind of like a child that has done something bad, and has to talk to his Father, He is still a son no matter what. God doesn't want Christians living in sin, but they will always be in the Family. A true Christian will never have to face hell, but will have to answer for the life he has lived while here on earth. What kind of punishment that will be I don't know, but it won't be hell. Some think it will be a loss of rewards, could be. Sounds unfair doesn't it, but God is a forgiving God and his love we will never understand. I hope I helped, there is alot more, but if you keep seeking for answers God will send you the right person into your life to help. God said in the Bible,"seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened.

Just saying you accept Jesus and actually living a Christian life are two totally different things.
God is like our biological parents--He forgives all of the stupid things we do even if we temporarily forsake Him. He loves us unconditionally and wants us to be happy, but we have to do our part as well by professing our love for Him and upholding the rules which He established by the Ten Commandments.
In a nutshell, yes, you can screw up royally but as long as you TRULY love and accept Jesus and are honestly sorry for your sins you will get to Heaven. That doesn't mean you can kill someone and just say "Oh well, God'll forgive me!" Not at all. God doesn't let sinners take advantage like that.
Turning your back on God and denying that He gave His only Son to die for your sins is a sin in its own.

You have to do more than accept Jesus as your savior. When you commit a sin whether minor or major, praying to God through Jesus' name asking for His forgiveness and then trying to live your life in harmony according to the Bible is what will gain you God's approval. Hell is a common grave where the dead go...it is not a physical fiery place of torment. In these times we're living in, it is very difficult to live a Godly life because of Satan the Devil's influence over mankind, but it's not impossible. Prayer is an intimate communication between God & you. When you pray to God asking for his holy spirit to help you get through whatever is troubling you and you have faith that He will help you, you don't need to feel guility about your shortcomings. You can go on with your life and be at peace.

Believing in Jesus as your savior doesnt give you a free pass to sin and live as you please. True believers in Christ try to live and be like Christ who was perfect and loves everyone. We're to repent of our sins and strive to change and not commit then anymore. If someone comes to Christ and they have murdered and raped and accept Chrst as their savior then yes they are forgiven, but its much more then asking for forgiveness. Its a whole new way of living. Yes if you aren't covered by the blood of Jesus then you do go to hell no matter how many sins you commit or dont commit. Pray and God will lead you and change your way of thinking. With God on your side who can be against you.

Well to answer your question. Let me give you a background. I'm 23 and I was baptize over 3 years ago but about 2 months after I committed fornication with my boyfriend , who's also a christian.
In my opinion you will go to hell even if you are disbeliever or not. It is when you ask for the forgiveness that you are forgiven. Christian or non-christian

Some people proclaim to be Christians but those who are truly Christians are not going to go and rape and kill people. You have to remember even Christians are human and everyone will make mistakes. We are all sinners and all have to ask for forgiveness for our sins. None of us are perfect and I as a Christian do not claim to be perfect. I believe Jesus died for my sins. I know that not everyone believes he did. I know there are many beliefs out there. I do not judge others for their beliefs. Jesus did save the thief on the cross at the last minute because he accepted him as savior even though he was a sinner. I believe that all we have to do is believe. Nothing hard to do. I do not force it on anyone. I also believe that there are hypocrites out there who just want to "look good" and say the right things to fit in. It has to be in your heart to believe.

WRONG!!! The book of Acts records EVERY time scripture tells us about someone becoming a Christian. It DOES NOT talk about "accepting Jesus."
Ac 2:37 When the people heard this, their hearts were filled with shame. They said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Peter replied, “All of you must turn away from your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit... 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized. About 3,000 people joined the believers that day.

Christians aren't perfect. They are sinners just as everyone else is. They are forgiven. I'd have a problem believing that a true Christian could kill, steal, rape, and main after they've found Christ, but I suppose it happens. That's why I'm glad God will be the final judge.

Accepting Jesus is just a step to heaven. If any believer claims to have accepted Jesus, and they do otherwise, stealing, raping, etc, they are betraying him and they too will perish as if they never accepted him. But if they repent, they will be forgiven. If some one commits a sin with an aim of repenting later on, that repentance dont count.
Sin is something that can not be avoided. So you will be repenting and asking for God's forgiveness all the time. But He will forgive you if you didnt commit the sin knowingly. We sin wen we dont really know we are sinning, and later on we realise we have sinned.
Its hard to explain, but the short of it, if you see a xtian claimig to have accepte Jesus and they are doing wrong and know they are doing wrong, Shame them and tell them to be real!

Don't believe what the whitewashed tombs tell you. You must be called to a relationship with God in Messiah. If the Spirit does not lead you to repentance and worship of God, you will continue to hell. If you are called and follow the leading of the spirit in truth, you will come kicking and screaming but you will come. It's not just a simple prayer for insurance purposes. It costs you as much as you have, everything. BTW your sins are already forgiven, you need only have the faith God gives you to believe that.
