No denomination is perfect. You made an extreme change. From pseudo-Christianity to one of the strictest denomination on Earth.Fundamentalist Baptist (whom I greatly respect) are just a little too tight. These are straight, sincere, God loving people. But, they are way short on grace, and too big on pointing out the sins of others. They are too legalistic. It is very hard for a Christian to grow in a church like that. Many in my family are Fundamentalist or Independent Baptist. They are all sweet people , but they make their lives more difficult than necessary. Maybe you should back off a little to maybe a more moderate Southern Baptist or even a Calvary Chapel. Trust in Christ-not a denomination or a preacher.

I'm with you there. I'm christian, but find almost every denomination I've investigated has something seriously wrong with it. I couldn't follow catholicism or fundamentalist baptists. The closest I've found to truth is messianic judaism, and since there's none of these churches near me, I'm kinda on my own. I just kind of follow my own belief, I know the sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, but go to church on Sunday because thats the only time they have it here for christian churches, except JW's and other denominations that I feel are way messed up. I figure as long as I observe the sabbath on the correct day, I can go worship any day I want, so no real biggy. Read the bible for yourself, believe what you truly believe without having to attach a denomination to it. A lot of christian churches don't have a problem with that and will welcome you to worship with them, even if you don't agree with all of their beliefs.

Then keep believing in Him, and forget about the rest. Follow what truth fits you. And if you still want to attend a church, then find one that your happy in (service hrs, social ,location, community groups and activities etc), whether you agree with everything or not.
God wont strike you with lightening for not following the crowd, or questioning or disagreeing. Its your own heart and mind that he is interested in. It comes down to you and Him.
Many people around the world, many beliefs (even within the same denominations) - know your own and be confident in that, whatever anyone else says.

Go to a non-denomination or a full gospel church. I grew up in the Catholic church and left when I was 36 years old, all I go to is non-denomination. I just felt lost and now I don't feel that way.

It's not about denominations, but about JESUS... stop and think, what denomination would Jesus be? He woudln't be fussing about the hype of different denominations but rather just focusing on what the father says and what the word directs us to do.. So simple yet we make it difficult with denominations, rules..ect.. keep ur eyes fixed on Jesus! God bless.

Christians today have to keep in mind that we are living in the age of the "apostate" (fallen) church. Do not put your trust in any denomination, but seek to know God through His Word, and prayer. A true Christian today needs to see the church as the missionfield. We are commanded to not forsake assembling together but realize how far it has slipped from the truth.

if you still believe in jesus, and you lost faith in all denominations, maybe change churches. You could feel uncomfortable at the present church you attend.
remember, there are differenent religions but all the same god.

Okay, this is all I can tell you here. God did "not" create
religions, "man" did. It does not matter to God whether you call yourself a Catholic, Babtist, or any other religion, as long as you believe in Christ, okay? So just relax, and don't worry so much about that stuff. Your heart is in the right place, keep it there, and you'll be just fine.
