This Italian restaurant in NYC had amazing food and was served family style. It was located close to Broadway (maybe even on Broadway) and the menus were hand painted on the walls. When I dined ther I felt as though I was in an episode of the Sopranos. What is the name of the restaurant??? I want to go back!

You are thinking of Carmines- It's ok.
Tony di Napoli is on the Upper East Side. Carmines is West. You will eat a lot, perhaps not that well, though.

Are you sure there are Italians restaurants in NYC????. Actually try the one Ray and Debra go to on "Everyone loves Raymond". Looks good to me. Nemo's ----where Stefania works as waitress.

I think it was Carmine's. Not bad, but pretty touristy. U might want to check out Da Nico. It's in Little Italy, which can also get pretty touristy, but this place stays pretty true to its roots.
