IT has a Upper Respiratory Infection. Need antibiotics. Common with kittens from the shelter. Call the Humane Society and ask if they cover it, or go to the vet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please do not get pets if you do not have the money to take them to the vet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The kitten needs more vaccines and that will be al least 2 more visits right there.
You cannot treat it at home. The kitten can get so stuffed that it does not eat or drink and gets dehydrated and dies. DO SOMETHING!!

I'd definitely take her back to the humane society and see if they will do anything. She needs some medication.
My cat just came back from the vet. She was sneezing and had a stuffy nose for about 2 days. I thought she'd be ok. The next morning, I got up and her eyes were matted together. I immediately took her to the vet.
He said that she was a very sick kitty. She was severely dehydrated. The infection was down in her lungs. She had to stay there two days receiving fluids and medication. She is home and still sneezing, but getting medication. If I'd taken her from the start it might've cost $50, instead I waited and almost lost her and cost me 4 times as much.
Don't just hope she gets over it, take her to someone quick.

I got a cat at my local shelter 6 days ago and all pets adopted from there get a free vet check as well. The same thing was happening to my kitty but not as bad, he was just kind of sneezing and had some congestion. It was a viral infection he had picked up at the shelter and the vet said he didn't need any medication when I was in there but if it got worse- like if he couldn't breathe out of his nose anymore or it the discharge was anything but clear. If this had happened she said to bring him in immediately to get some antibiotics. My kitty slept for a few days and got over it. Sounds like you will need to take your cat to the vet. It'll probably only get worse if you don't.

I happen to be a foster "mom" for our local OSPCA shelter, and I recently had a kitten with a similar problem. The antibiotics didn't work and she developed nose bleeds. Well they are now testing her for tumours in her nasal passage. Not to worry, if you are willing to pay, it is a normal surgery. Otherwise I'm certain some antibiotics will take care of it as it could be a simple virus picked up at the shelter. Watch out for any kind of bleeding from the nose, discharge from the eyes and any panting. Let the vet know if he/she becomes listless, of any changes in the bowel movements, etc. GL

I had that exact same thing around the exact same time of my pregnancy last year! My midwife recommended Tylenol Multi Symptom for some relief so that I could *try* to sleep and even function during the day. I only took it when I felt I ABSOLUTELY had to (you know, at like 2a when you wake up to go to the bathroom and then can't get back to sleep because all of a sudden you can't breathe again). It did help some and my baby was born just fine. :) There's no alcohol in it (I took the liquid) and it won't harm the baby. So sorry you're sick! It's not fun when you aren't prego! :( Get better soon! Best of luck with your baby!

I too brought home a sick kitty. She had a bad head cold with sneezing and watery eyes. She had it for quite a while but eventually got over it. Take it to the vet to be treated but dont worry to much she will get over it. Remember, kittens sleep alot so she will get her rest as she needs it.

If you adopted it from the humane society then go to them, and the will give you suggestions or even medicate it. I wish the best for your kitten.

she may have upper respitory. it is easily taken care of but it would be a good idea to take it back to the humane society that you got it from and they will deal with it.
