I already know how to make cocktail sauce using horseradish, but what else? I have two jars sitting in my cabinet, and I want to use some. What else can I make, or what are others foods besides seafood?

Next time you make mashed potatos from scratch put just a little horseradish in it. A variation of many sauces by adding horseradish. Experiment.

My recipe for horseradish sauce at the restaurant was 1 pound HR to 5 pounds sour cream. So there's your ratio at least. It was very popular with the prime rib and French Dips.

I also like it in mashed potatoes.

Use horseradish as a creative substitute for hot sauce.

I love spicy food.

I mix a drop in my creamy salad dressing.
I put a tablespoon or two in my homemade stews.

I can't think of anything else right now. But I use it a lot. The hotter the better.

Straight horseradish is good with roast beef. Or, for a milder taste, and a sandwich spread, mix it with mayo, sour cream, or a combo. I also think the spread would be a good dip for veggies, but I love horseradish, so it might just be me.
