I want to Go Brunnette....?

Question

I'm a dirty blonde and im really pale, i hate my blonde hair so i am gunna go brunnette. my one frend sed it wud lok bad cuz im pale and the brown colour would make me pale and i wud look goth. I need help!!!! wat colour should i die my hair????

I think you should go light to medium brown. And you should probably get some highlights. Don't go to dark. Because once you dye it there is no going back. Stick to something that look very natural. Between Light and Medium brown. You could get maybe a little bit of red tint to it.

I used to be blonde. I didn't dye it, it just turned that way even though I have brunette eyebrows. So I went to my stylist and she colored it to match my eyebrows. That was when I was a teenager 15 years ago. I'm also very pale, but the color worked! After a couple years I changed to a red-brunette. Loving it after all these years.

And the box dye isn't horrible anymore. In fact, my hair feels softer and fuller after I give myself a dye job every month when my blondish roots start showing.

(And on the plus side, I don't know if I'm going grey!)

I am pale with natural brown hair, it doesnt make you look any paler . For one , blonde will make you look just as pale as brown hair because it will wash you out. If you go brown, go for a lighter shade of brown and not a dark shade. I'm sure the hair dresser will also be able to help you pick the right shade for your skintone. My hair is like yours. In the past, I have stayed blonde, but the stylist used a golden blonde. I am currently a dark brunette, because as I have gotten older, it has gotten darker. My skin is pale, too, but I don't look goth at all. Your stylist can help. Also, look at pictures in those hair magazines. They're a big help.

And just what's wrong with looking goth?
If you're looking for your average not so striking brown, go for a light cocoa shade with some dark blonde highlights. Kind of like Jennifer Lopez.

What color are your eyebrows? If they are darker then your hair color use that as a guide. Don't go to dark because it will make you look pale. I don't have to much info. to go by so it's a little harder for me to help you. From what you said I would not go any darker then a LEVEL 7. Go to a beauty supply store and they will help you with the color. Good luck

You can test the waters using natural instincts temporary color. It lasts about 6 weeks. If you have blue eyes, a dark chestnut could look good. But if you just want to test the waters, go get the lightest brown from natural instincts and go from there.

you are 13 so don't use a harsh dye- you are in the middle of puberty, and that's not smart LOL. Ask them to use a professional rinse dye if they have it. You ahould also go a light brown so you don't look goth, that is,unless you want to look goth.

u should dye it a really really light brown or just keep the same hair color but with brown highlights
