you can get it chemically straighened, but my hair dresser says that it's really bad for you.
Once it starts to grow out it will grow out curly again.

Is this the same curly haired person who asked this question 15 minutes ago. DON'T SAY YOU'VE HAD IT DONE AND ITS GONE CURLY ALREADY!! You can get them straightened with chemicals from a top hairdressers. It will be expensive (a few hundred pounds) but its better for your hair than using straighteners every other day. *******IT ISN'T PERMANENT******* Take no notice to people who say its permanent. It will last until your natural hair starts to grow, so your new hair at the roots will need straightening. So it will depend on how fast your hair grows, when you will need it re-done. Should last 8 months or more though. good luck

The only way that you'll be able to straighten your hair, and have it last for a long period of time is to get your hair chemically straightened by a salon.

There are products you can buy at local drug stores, but it will be really rough on your hair, and since you have really fine hair, it will end up drying out your hair and it will break off!

I'm a hair stylist, this is what I went to school for. I can't tell you exactly what you should do, since I'd have to acctually look at your hair. So I think you should go to a salon and see what they think, they might talk you out of doing it, but salon products are much easier on your hair than store bought crap.

Depends on where you live really - if it is in England I noticed last week that Boots now sell a chemical straightener that is marketed as good a those used in hairdressers - it was by a leading brand but I cant remember which and it is permanent. Sort of the opposite to a perm really.

i have really curly hair so i got it relaxed at a hair salon but sadly it didnt work much it only made my hair less frizzy and un-did the curls a little..but its still not straight at all..so my hair dresser recomended this hair iron called CHI and its the best thing ever u have to get it!! it only takes me 30 mins to do my hair now instead of 2 hours and the results are awesomee!!!! all my friends went to buy their own because the results are just amazing! it leaves hair pin straight and doesnt even frizz when ur out in the rain! haha ppl get jealouss..and trust me this really works because i have the thickest hair on the planet also its down to my hips:-) although this isnt permenant u'll find that its no problem to do everyday because its so fast ( ull really notice a difference if it usually takes you a long time to straighten your hair) and the results are just fabulous! u dont even have to use any other products in your hair or even blow dry it first ..use only this one iron! but make sure ur hair is completly dry after u wash it so it doesnt burn ur hair or anything also cause its fastest when its dry. ( so i dont recomend the chemical products because later when u want to just leave ur hair curly for a while or put gel/ mousse in it ull find that it doesnt form nice curls anymore:-() ...soo i hope that helpedd<3xo

go to a reputable hair salon and seek advice cause if you attempt to do it yourself you could damage hair and scalp! There is alot of influencing factors to consider when chemically straightening or relaxing hair for example current condition, what other previous chemical treatments you have had on your hair! Also you will still have to use straighteners after treatment anyway!! GHD is supposed to be releasing a new straightener in january they might be of some help to you, have a look on there website. Really hope this helps you.

There are chemical straighteners such as keratin, though I think that you can risk the health of your hair more if you do this. Try smoothing products with argan oil like pro naturals argan oil, it's cheaper than permanent straightening and your hair will stay healthy.

You must do this at your hairsalon. If you try it at home you could burn your hair up. Permanent hair straightens are very strong. It also depends on if you are white or black. Black hair care products will burn white hair badly. Let your hairstylist worrie about all that! Thats what they went to school for.

I bet your hair looks good curly, but if you really want to straighten it, have a look at this article:

It'll be better for your hair than using straightening irons all the time.
