be careful with that. You are only killing the gram positive bacteria, or the good germs, and if you use it daily you will cause an overgrowth of the periodontal pathogens, or bad bacteria. Use Crest Pro Health rinse instead, there's no alcohol in it but it still kills germs and keeps your breath fresh. Peroxide from the botttle will not make your teeth whiter. If you use a good stain fighting toothpaste it will however make them look much brighter.

Even domestic-strength solutions can cause irritation to the eyes, mucous membranes and skin.[46] Swallowing hydrogen peroxide solutions is particularly dangerous, as decomposition in the stomach releases large quantities of gas (10 times the volume of a 3% solution) leading to internal bleeding. It is a rather weak acid. You probably experience worse from the food and drinks that you eat. I would not directly use peroxide to bleach my teeth. I would instead get a toothpaste with it as an ingredient.

My girlfriend used it too, while she had braces....for the bubbling effect....anyway, she diluted it too which is the safe way to use hydrogen peroxide. My nurse friend told me a while back that the AMA has said to use it at about 50/50 with water for just about anything. Oh, yes, her teeth got realllllllllly white, and they were pretty white to begin with.

it does whiten teeth but if concentrated it burns the gums, plus mouth washes are of little value in treatment because they get diluted by saliva so fast

I don't think so it's in my toothpaste & the percentage is low in the over the counter stuff but I would ask a dentist.
