I was looking for something to eat today and I decided on an omellette. I crack two eggs and put them in a bowl and then when I put in the last egg, I see what looks like a rock in the bowl.
I think to myself, "maybe i just didn't notice it in the bowl before," but when i take it out it is attached to the yolk by the white string stuff. I took it out and broke it open and it is black and spongy.

Does anyone know what it is and whether I can still eat the eggs? I still haven't eaten and it's already 5.

I dislike Taco Bell both because it does not sell mexican food and also because the food is nasty.

NO NO NO

IN the future may I suggest something I was taught by grandma who grew up and lived most of her life on a farm.

Always break an egg into a seperate bowl for inspection and only if it looks good pour it into the bowl with other eggs or ingredients. Never break an egg and pour it into other items before inspecting it.

Old farmers trick. Sometimes they would be breaking a dozen eggs to pour on a big griddle for scrambling and you certainly didnt want that twelfth egg to spoil the other eleven.!!!!

The black hard part of the egg is a decayed rooster seed that makes baby chickens--
I wouldn't ever eat an egg that has any thing abnormal in it.

I honestly wouldn't eat it. That's something I've never encountered in an egg in my entire life. Stay on the safe side.
