Whatever he is saying to you is making you feel guilty. You are completly correct to be angrey. If anyone, a friend or a lover or anyone that said thay are coming over to do something, don't show up, then of course you have a right to be unhappy since it has disrupted your day and plans. You are an important person that deserves respect regardless of the contact. If it is an emergency it is an exception. People should always respect each other. Relationships fail when respect is gone. Never loose respect and you will always maintain value.

Because your feelings are hurt. He didn't care, that almost says he didn't care, or was too busy for you, that can hurt anyones feels and ego. Then he seemed shocked because you were mad, when he should have been saying how sorry he was. Almost makes you would were in his life do you stand. That would make anyone in a relationship feel bad

Girl DO NOT FEEL BAD. Especially if this was a repeat offense, in which case yelling might have even been acceptable. That depends on how good a boyfriend he is otherwise though.

Maybe you're just a softie at heart. Girls hate confrontation. Or maybe you feel bad about his reaction. Maybe you're afraid things won't be the same between you. It is better for you to have said something about his inconsideration now than for it to go on and you be seething in anger. If he cares anything about you he will take what you had to say to heart and he won't try that little # again. Be glad you said something. You are worth it.

In his mind maybe he doesn't think he did anything wrong- you shouldn't feel bad he needs to know how you feel it's not cool to blow someone off, just let him know that next time if he's not going to show up he should call thats all

You were right, he was wrong. People tend to try and turn the situation away from them and on to the other person, making them feel as they owe the other an apology. Keep in mind what he did. That was mean and disrespectful.

You feel bad about it because you saw him uncomfortable. Men have a way of making you feel bad when they are the ones that are wrong.

because he pulled the "shocked, uncomfortable" look on you, and you're a nice person, so you probably didn't want to tell him that he hurt you, but you knew you needed to.
