Is it so audacious to suggest that the hand and essence of God exists as energy, and that, being created in his likeness, we too are energy nested in the network of pathways we call a brain? Is it so provocative to state that the soul is made of energy, thought is energy, and that energy, though we view it as a concrete object (while it is not), that energy is actually the essence of intelligence? I push these even further to suggest that energy itself might be intelligent.
Your first thought would be to think that this is a saccreligious question, but I challenge you to think outside the box for a moment, and realize that my proposition does not limit the powers of God or the intelligence of God. In fact, all power requires energy. Everything is essentially made of energy in one form or another. Energy is the only thing that will actully exist unchanged in a theoretical black-hole. It would have required a tremendous about of energy to form the universe.
Is this rally so stupid?

What if energy can actually "think" and have an agenda?

My idea is that we are creatures of spirit by nature and we live an energy existence - very interconnected and fluid - and we choose to come here for education. I can almost see it as a virtual reality set up. The only connection to "home" is through out thoughts - what we think they send. If we dwell upon lack, they just figure the course is too easy and they send more.
We are constantly co-creating our existence - thoughts actually do become things. God is the facilitator of our journey - I can imagine it as something like the ships computer in relation to the holodeck machine. It is not judging - it is providing what is requested. Are the safety checks engaged? That is up to you.
This may be an oversimplification - but I do think that God exists as energy and I think that I am a divine and beloved child of the universe, made up of that very same energy.
The concept is brilliant and frankly it is the only answer that makes all the religions seem to be saying the same thing, doesn't it? I mean if you take away the labels and such and put it in this context (of existence as energy) all the religions seem to be trying to interpret the Universal Truth through their own cultural and geographical world - don't you think?
Peace!

Ponder this.
What is matter? Matter is made of molecules.
What is a molecule? A Grouping of Atoms.
What is an atom? A collection of particles.
What is a particle?a packet of energy.
So, in a certain point, all matter is nothing more than energy, and all we perceive as reality, is nothing more than energy.
At certain points in the quantum spectrum, what everything may just be is information, which means "The matrix" might be closer to a true definition of reality than anything else.
To suggest that energy is more of a constant than anything else, is not audacious, but an observation.

What if the concept of zero point energy could be viewed as an infinite (or pure) abstraction? Would then, the nature of god be nonexistent in the physical universe? Some say that at that particular level of reality exists pure consciousness. It has also been sugguested that we can't even have an universe without consciousness entering in to it. I would say that the existence of god could better be described as consciousness rather than energy - or maybe consciousness in the form of energy.

It might be a way of thinking. Certainly the N.T. says that in Christ all things consist, hold together, have their being. It seems that He is the One who holds the atom and the Universe together..
Yes, an aspect of God certainly could be "energy" or "force"; but He is so much more than a "force"; He is a "person". Some think the Holy Spirit is just a "force" and go so far as to refer to the Holy Spirit as an "it". That is going much too far; for that impersonalises the "Persons" of the Godhead.

Energy and dark energy, matter and dark matter, galaxies and black holes, the known universe and unknown universe...are only a tiny part in the creation of God. The One True God is the Creator of the world of creation with things we mention above and other things invisible we will discover, and also the world of revelation that mankind of this age still have no idea about it. The Messengers of God had come to open our minds to these things in order that we all can thankfully know Him and love Him.

You make a good point. I see no problem with your statement, except having other people believe this and stop believing what they do - is not going to happen.
Humans have set up the systems that will be used until thousands of years; generations and generations; from now. There may be a change, but not in my life time.
Believing GOD is energy is not hard to grasp.

God exists as The " I am That I am , Alpha & Omega " That is a complicated and deep question you asked. ! I firmly believe that The Holy Spiirt has Infintissimal Energy, and other kinds of power., that we know nothing about, But ,God the Father He is more Than Energy and Powers and of things I know not of, except for Love. God bless you.

Clever question - but I personally don't agree. Everything contains some amount of energy (as you pointed out.) God said He made man specifically in His own image - not all of creation in His own image. God is beyond our comprehention ; so if you think you might have a concept of His being the odds are you'd be wrong. Only through Jesus can the Father even begin to be revieled to us.

You were doing OK until you got to the thinking energy part. What do you think energy thinks about? How to break its own laws, perhaps? How to apply them after the fact? Does it ask itself where it came from? Does it have any reason to be curious?
Does it ever say, these black holes are a *****, aren't they!

GOD created Energy; the Quran says that: “GOD looks like nothing of his creation”, since Humans can only Imagine or think of things that relay to what they can sense, no body can Imagine or figure out how GOD looks like. Therefore, instead of thinking of how GOD looks like GOD has instructed us to think of the universe, this thinking will be more fruitful.
