I have Dish Network. Whenever I turn on my TV I get the Guide plus menu. I have to cancel it with the TV remote. I would like to remove it so it doesn't come on at all because I have Guide on the Dish Network. I want to never see it again. Help. Thanks.

The TV is an RCA Model F27442 entertainment series. The owners manual tells how to set it up but not how to remove it.

each tv is different in how you turn off that feature. Without knowing your TV brand and model nobody can help you. Did you check your owner's manual?

maybe bad switches on front of set or corrosion on pcb around switches very common problem caused by windex or other cleaner leaking down front of set.
