Because of brainwashing by whacko's who convince these young people Allah wants them to do it, they even convince them that it will mean having a bunch of virgin sex slaves in heaven. If these guys thought about it, they'd realize that being stuck as a sex slave for eternity wouldn't be heaven, but they don't think that far apparently. It's just sad that people let themselves be brainwashed like this, it's sad for them, their families, and obviously the innocent people they murder. Personally, I don't really see how they can follow someone who tells them to commit suicide, yet the one who tells them this nonsense obviously isn't doing it. You'd think they'd figure that one out too.

who said they are heroes ? If the media talked about the religious condemnation of these acts. no that no Muslim country and no Muslim people consider suicide bombers as heroes!
What we say is " Even if you condemn, try to understand why a 20 years olds boy will give up life to kill innocent people ? why do they live in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan ...etc ?

Since when suicide bombers are heroes?!!!
we Muslim are TIRED of clarifying to you that those ppl are not heroes..who kill themselves and other innocent ppl.
Defending you religion..land and home is something else...we all from different religions would go to fight our enemies to protect ourselves...but those terrorists are no heroes nor martyrs.
so either they don't understand the real Islam ...or they have other interests not even related to the religion.

Good question, but I think it is better to call them homicide bombers, since their intent is mass murder.
