You could have a major organ like your liver removed - it would be no less unhealthy than any extreme diet you would need to do to lose that much weight in such a short time?
Do you have any idea how much strain losing so much weight over a few days would put on your heart? A hell of a lot!
If you don't care about being healthy or living to old age you could just not eat or drink at all for ten days, perhaps 100ml of water a day to stave off death.
There is no possible way to lose that much weight that fast without risking organ damage.
I would set a more realistic target and try to drop a size over a month. A good way to lose weight is to eat lots of fruit and vegtables, less high fat foods and to do more exercise.

I may be sounding like I'm giving you a lecture here but I had a friend at university who ruined her kidneys by trying to drop 3 dress sizes in a month. It seems a shame to damage a wonderful, healthy body just for the sake of vanity.

Why would you even want to be a size 6? Haven't you ever heard of the phrase, 'perfect 10'? It's not realistic and is way too skinny IMO. You can't drop 2 jean sizes in 10 days either, I think you have some issues. Be happy as you are.

No - in fact if you try - what will happen is that you will put on weight as the body recognises that it is being starved. Then you try harder and the body works harder - your adrendal gland then produces too much adrenalin and that affects the cortisol levels in the brain and you begin to get depressed. Then you start looking in the mirror and seeing fat that is not there - it actually seems that you may well be doing that now. Then your body starts to shut down, you suddenly start to loose weight and you begin to pick up all manner of infections and get very run down, it can lead to death.

How do I know I tried it last year - lost 5 stones and got down to a size 10 from a size 24. Did lots of exercise to enhance the weight loss - too much in fact, got stressed about everything except loosing weight because i thought the weight loss was doing me good. It was all done properly through weightwatchers with a sensible diet.

Then I went completely off my trolley at work and ended up having a car accident one night by driving into the front of my house (kept hitting accelerator instead of brake). Had many counselling sessions to try to straighten me out. Just as I was about to go back to work after 4 months off sick, I had an abcess in the pelvis and blood infection - lost even more weight and was off work for another 5 months even had cardiac problems through it. Actually I lost an average of 2 lb a week for 8 months.

When I look back at the photographs I looked fine if you took my face out of the equation. My body looked a lovely shape and slim with a nice size bust, but looking at my face I looked wasted and gaunt. I'm 5ft 4 and size 10 was too small. I am now a size 14 and not unhappy with it, everyone says I look great now. It's still a great advance on size 24.

Dont do it even slowly - you will regret it later.

Firstly, I personally think a size 6 is a tad small. But, its your choice, everyones different. I dont think you could lose that much weight in such a short space of time, but you can certainly lose a noticable amount.

You need to stick to a strick 'healthy' diet for the entire 10 days and do as much cardio work as you can. I'd suggest running if your level of fitness is ok, if not, fast walking or cylcing would be good.

I reckon you could lose 5lb easy.

No! To drop 2 dress sizes will take a lot more than 10 days! If you want to see results and fast follow the Atkins diet or cut out carbs, combined with regular exercise you'll be a svelte size 8 by Christmas........Good luck x

Being a UK size 10 seems small to me anyway and 6 is skeletal, in my experience if you loose weight to quickly you only put it back on again and it is not healthy. Why on earth do you want to be so skinny, research has proved that most men like something they can get hold of.

No chance of losing that amount of weight in 10days! If you want to drop in clothes label size then buy clothes made for Americans, their size 6 is equivalent to either our size 10 or 12!

Honey are you seriously asking this? If you are a size 6 you will never find your size in the shops... you want my advice? Stay a healthy 10 and just tone up rather than slim down :)

Well, stay away from fat and refined sugars, eat lots of veggies and fibery foods (beans, lentils, whole grain, etc). Four sizes in 10 days isn't really reallistic, though 1 might be. JUst be patient and remember, you didn't get to a size 10 overnight, so don't expect to drop the weight overnight.
