...take someone back if that person cheated? By cheated, that can cover: sex, kissing, oral, etc.. Would you ever believe them again? Would or do you believe that they would be faithful and sincere? ...and why? How could they make it up to you?

Thank you for all of your responses. I believe that the sanction of marriage / relationships are built on trust and honesty. Many times I feel that in a secular world, I'm the only one, but I just wanted to know how many of you viewed the issue.

Let's say the person is remorseful and completely sorry they cheated. You have to soul search and decide if you could forgive them. Depending upon what happened, I might have the capacity to forgive if it was a one-time deal and I felt the person was sincere. However, if I was always distracted by what happened and couldn't forget it, I would absolutely have to move on because it wouldn't be fair to me or that person.

Why did the person cheat? Was it a self-esteem problem? Sometimes it can be about the person's self-esteem and it usually has nothing to do with you or anything that you do or don't do. Most likely it is about the individual that is choosing to cheat on you and it may have even been something that a parent modeled to them while they were growing up in the home.

All I needed to do was read the first line...No definetly not. Once a cheater always a cheater...Find a person that will give you nothing but 100% trust in a relationship.LL.

It all depends on how sincere they were but remember, when you sleep with someone, you're sleeping with everyone they've slept with too. Did she ride them bareback? Something to think about!!!

If they actually committed those acts, then probably not. If they were sad or not sure how to make things work and just thought about it, even seriously, that is different than actually doing it.
