I'd like to change my existing sliding closet doors to sliding mirrored doors. Will that do anything for my house (added value or just appeal) if and when I decide to sell? I know it'll make the room look bigger, but what else will it do for me besides increase my love life?

On the decorating shows they tend to replace mirrored closet doors because they are outdated. I am also not sure it would improve a love life unless you are both into seeing it while doing it. It may not always be as big a turn on for both or as flatering.

We had a mirrored closet door in the master bedroom when we moved into our house. We removed it. It just looked better to have nothing than the mirrored doors that didn't even shut right. We have a plain bifold door we are going to install. I don't care for mirrored doors myself. It might be better to use curtains/beaded curtains instead of a traditional door. You can get fun trendy curtains for not that much money, then when you want to redo your room, get different ones. The only benefit of the mirrored closet door is that you have lots of mirrors in your room. If the room is pretty small and doesn't have a lot of light, you might want to keep them though.

The two that you mentioned would be good enough for me. LOL, if the room appears bigger, if you go to sell it, that will up the value. I know that I would think of mirrored closet doors as a positive. It just depends on the person, but any remodeling you do will up the value.

I dont know if its enough of an upgrade to actually add value to a house- its just closet doors made of mirrors. Other than to make you happier and make the room appear more open- I have no idea what else they'll do for you.

They would add to the value if they make the room look better and bigger.

Some people might prefer having a mirrored wall, so there ups your potential buyers. Other than that, dunno.
