People need to believe that something exists beyond what we know as life....Many are too scared to believe that it doesn't exist. Maybe the question should be rephrased like.....are you too scared to believe that heaven doesn't exist?

Jesus spoke more about Hell than He did about Heaven, and more about eternity than anything else. Must have been pretty important if God in the flesh is speaking about these things, don't you agree?

Some people have been clinically dead and witnessed them and were revived and came back and told the story. I have no problem believing the bible, but if you do, then listen to those near death experiences.

It is pretentious to think that humans are any more important than any other animal. We are inconsequential, and so the belief that humans have "souls", and that we have immortal essences is pure bull.
