Hopefully, you won't have that chance. If it does happen to you and your friend, you won't have time or a chance to say anything. You will be too agonized and screaming too much and knashing of your teeth. It will be forever, so No, you will not recognize or know the old friend that is there with you. Think about Heaven , instead of hell .
