chocolate chip cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup white chocolate chips
2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup chopped almonds
DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; add to butter mixture, and stir until just blended. With a large wooden spoon, stir in the white, milk, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir in the walnuts, pecans, and almonds. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Chocolate Chip Cookies:

1 cup sugar
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

2 1/2 cups uncooked regular oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
3 (1.55-ounce) milk chocolate candy bars, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until fluffy; add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until blended.
Process oats in a blender or food processor until finely ground. Combine oats, flour, and next 3 ingredients. Add to butter mixture, beating well.
Stir in chocolate morsels, chopped candy bars, and pecans.
Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls, and place on baking sheets.
Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Yield: Makes 7 dozen

I usually make brownie cookies, use the same boxed brownie batter and add lots of nuts, some butterscotch chips or cranraisens, then bake them in cookie shapes, on a lined pan with edges. They are chewy and really good.

the recipe is on the bag of chips but if your in high elavation add 1/2 c flour for soft cookies.

buy the bag that has the recipe on the back. yummy. if you want them to stay soft, cool them a bit and then put then in a air tight can. if you wait until they are completly cooled before you put them away they will be hard. i like them soft much better.

try: 4oz caster mixed with 4oz butter until creamy and smooth
add one egg +half teaspoon of vanilla essence, mix and sift in 5oz of flour+1oz of cocoa powder, stir in 6oz of choc chips, then put heaped table spoons of it onto greased baking tray, bake in oven@ 180C/350F/gas mark 4 for 10-15 mins till golden brown
let them cool then eat within 5 days
makes about 12
