Scary as hell!!! But VERY funny!!

In our tests: Your patient is suspended. How would you treat them?

All the blah about safety, ABC etc. etc.

Then: When are you going to cut them down?

No it's not right.

Yes, not just scary, very dangerous.
1. it will make the bleeding worse
and 2. wouldn't just restrict blood flow but also airflow.

The better idea would be to get a relatively cold, but not too cold sterille cloth and apply slight pressure.

Depends on the patient right, for some people i'd say thats a bloody good idea.

And you, as an instructor are proud of this?

Then again depends on the patient....come to think of it why wait for the head injury?

Well, it would stop the bleeding - and the heart and the breathing, but the bleeding would stop - right??

I think direct pressure would be a "smarter" response....

BS. absolute nonsense. He will bleed even more due to obstruction to venous blood flow. Ask your friend to get his basic fundas correct

Use pressure, NOT a tourniquet.
Firm pressure until trained help arrives.
