I am so nice and understanding to my boyfriend. If he doesn't call I don't freak out like some girls. If he wants to take me out on a date and then doesn't show up I don't get all angry with him. He says he loves me all the time and likes to buy me presents, but I am starting to get angry at him for not showing up for our dates. Why does he have to be such a jerk?

Sounds to me like your letting him treat you like a door mat. You SHOULD get angry if he makes a date and doesn't show up. It's rude and inconsiderate to do that to someone. I wouldn't even be freinds with a person who treated me that way, much less date them.

People will treat you the way you let them treat you. You seem like the type of girl who likes to date jerks. If you don't want to date a jerk, then dump your boyfriend and date someone who treats you right. Complaining here won't accomplish anything.

I do get mad if he doesn't call..I'm very spoiled...I expect my boyfriend to call me every day.

The not showing up for dates?! Sweetheart...no,no,no,no.

Why is he not showing up? You have every right to be angry. You need to be first if hes cherishing you and loving you.

Its okay. You can either deal with it, talk to him about him, dump him, or give him a dose of his own medicine. If you did it to him, I think it might make him see...if he doesnt..then sweetie, your best bet is to move on.

Sorry. And men are jerks anyway...my boyfriend is the greatest man in this world and would buy the world if I asked for it, but he's a jerk...hahahahaha..

He doesn't deserve you and you shouldn't be with someone, especially if you know that he's a jerk. He's getting you presents and stuff to make up for not spending any time with you. It takes two people to make a relationship, not one person and a present.

Good luck! ^_^

Because you didn't get angry at him for standing you up, he took it to mean that he was allowed to stand you up. If a girl doesn't set boundaries for her guy, he'll lose interest. They like to be challenged. It's OK to be understanding sometimes, but you were being too understanding too often.

You're letting him get away with it. He knows you won't get mad so he knows he can do it if he feels like it. If it's all the time he could not be that into you and is now looking since he's not showing up for your dates.

Love doesn't equal presents. It's a personal pet peeve, when someone says they'll do something, they should do it, if he's making dates with you and then keeps standing you up for no reason, dump his butt and find someone that deserves you.

Sweetheart, he does you that way because you let him. He knows that you are not going anywhere no matter how he treats you, and as long as he believes that he will just keep doing it over and over, and it will get worse. You need to talk to him and get his heart right. Demand your respect. Do not let him continue to walk on you like that. You deserve better.

he has never shown up on a date? well, sorry, but i think he might be gone, but im not that sure. who asked who out? that will determine it. if he asked you out, then he's just grown out of one girl and is definately a jerk. but f he said yes to you, then it remains unsure. wish i could be of more help.
