Is that so that our freinds can have a morning swim (well it would save the precious water) and then go fishing,or even speed boat rides. Is this for real?

HMP Weare (Portland Harbour) was closed last year because it could not run a suitable regime for the men. Unfortunately it is just a short term solution because it would be difficult to practice modern offender management in such an environment.

Why are you suprised? We are not talking luxury cruise liner here we are talking prison ships like they had in Charles Dickens day - outmoded and outdated. We need more prisons built on the land and more innovative sentencing.

Yes apparantly we've run out of prison space. I think it would only be a good idea if they used the ship for immigrant prisoners and illegal immigrants, then when the ship is full up it can set sail and return them to their own country......this would solve the prison space and immigration problem at the same time!

Hopefully we'll be able to fill these Prison Ships to their full capacity with all our low life garbage, then set sail out into the North Atlantic and Scuttle the Ship!

Used to. Prisoners realised that the least puzzling thank you to get out of it grew to become into to declare seasickness... that's utter bollocks. it extremely is in Portland, Dorset, and it extremely is tied to the dock as though it grew to become into by no skill meant to flow. no longer something incorrect with it as a penal complex, yet too many people have faith bull from prisoners. Seasickness my @rse. you don't get seasick whilst the deliver/ barge your on is tied to the dock via fact it is going to no longer be shifting, and despite the fact that in case you're saying that it extremely is obtainable to flow if the climate is undesirable adequate, you may desire to undergo in ideas this. Portland Harbour has between the main important breakwaters in Europe. there's a extensive component of secure water interior it, and the penal complex is tied up in between the main secure components of it.

Good idea, put all the pedophiles & murderers on board, take them out to sea & sink the boat, good way to get rid of scum & save the tax payer millions.
