What do you think? How would actresses and actors get costumes for the play? Do you know any famous costume designers?

costumes add to the scenery and the entire direction of the play.

there are people in the production of a play who are in charge of costuming. this means creating and fitting the costumes to the actors and actresses.

no i dont know any famous costume designers!

Well, think about it. If you are playing a character in the Victorian era, you aren't going to be wearing some booty shorts and some bling. If you are playing a ballerina, you're not going to perform in a trash bag. It's common sense, you have to be the character in everything you do.

A lot of the time productions have a costume designer. If you are on a low budget you make your own costume.

I know of some, but not that I can contact. Sorry.

Costumes define the Charactor's personality. What would Batman be with out underpants? What would Frankenstein be in casual jeans? Think it over!

I don't think actors in Jeans and T shirt would
look right in, say, "Mikado"
