Uncomfortable and tense. I just have to remember that nothing is going happen or be remembered if you stay calm and pay attention to whats happening around you.

it's always a mixture, i fell excited and a bit uncomfortable, trying to get the best of it and then worried because i tend to put my foot in it a little

I am a very shy person so I guess uncomfortable(wanting to crawl out of my skin) would best fit.

i would say 'excited' from the choices you offered. i like to imagine the possibilities of new situations... what might i learn? what feelings or emotions or experiences can i draw on that i have already, and how will my experiences affect how i respond? however, some success in new situations gives confidence, whereas utter failure will cause me to lose interest.
new things expand your horizons, and provide opportunity to meet new folks and see new places! i usually find it quite exciting.
