don't blame her for holding a grudge, why would any guy ever hit a girl anyways... that is sick. I would be ok with her the way she is or I wouldn't be interested in the first place

Not all guys hit women, so yes it's bad to hold a grudge. Trust is something that is earned, not given. Some times it takes a while. The guy, if he's honest and has integrity, just has to wait. It'll come. He also needs to not show ANY signs that could even be interpreted as he's going to swing.

yes it is bad that she is holding a grudge against "all" guys. sure, she would have a guard up against everyone after getting hit, but it doesn't mean that all guys are assholes. if she was dating me and didn't trust me, then she doesn't want to be in a relationship with me. that is what a relationship is, trust. i could understand if she held back for a week or so, but she has to warm up eventually or no guy will stick around. she would just be pushing them away. so in other words, if you cant trust your new boyfriend, then don't be in the relationship. it will never last unless you trust him

I could understand you may have issues with that.. But i also think you shouldn't come into every relationship thinking every guy just wants to hurt you like some a$$hole did..

Trust is a very important issue in a relationship and i know when a women shows no trust in me in a relationship, when i've never gave her a reason not to .
I honestly start considering if this is a relationship i should stay in..

I know it may be hard, but you've got to let it go. If you bring that baggage into every relationship it's not going to turn out well.

A patient guy who's really into you will understand and take things slow if that's what you need. If a guy hits you, walk away from him and the relationship immediately, no matter what commitments you have to the relationship. He must learn that this behaviour cannot be tolerated, otherwise he'll keep doing it. The same can be said for gentlemen who are hit by women.

I think its okay to be a bit cautious cuz its the girl who gets beaten up, pregnant and whatever. On the other hand, wary and hostile attitude tends to get the wrong kind of attention. Women`s strength lies in their "weakness". A man is the head of a woman but the woman turns the head...;-) Be wise, you have the tools for it.

When you are mad at her, take her in your arms and hold her. Show that you will work things out, not abuse.
