Nice to see that one person at least has attempted a helpful answer - though I suppose it's debatable whether such infantile questions deserve a response at all....but here goes anyway.

It's a University town so it has plentiful and cheap bars and restaurants (Vodka bar, Waffle House etc) an arts theatre, an arts centre/gallery affiliated with the Uni (Sainsbury Centre, I think). Good sports facilities. Cheap housing because of the poor transport links to London. Impressive old cathedral and narrow cobbled lanes like the Brighton Lanes or Shambles.

It's also only about 20 mins drive from the seaside with some amazing sandy beaches - some of the best in the whole of England. And another 20 mins to the Broads.

To return to the question - I guess there's probably more life in Norwich than on these boards judging by most of the peurile queries/responses!!

there was this afternoon I went to the station can could not get parked and the car park was full of coppers questioning people. Of course Norwich city were playing at home and the station is near the stadium so that may have had something to do with it

Norwich is a "Senior Military College" — so if you're in the Corps, you life will be regimented.

I used to live in Norwich in the early 80's, and it was great then.
As for now....i wouldn't have a clue.
But it is a beautiful place and i long to visit there again someday.
