Sterilized tweezers unless it's a really deep puncture wound.

In which case I would to a clinic and see a doctor.

Tweezers... and make sure it bleeds.
No, honestly, I'm not some blood freak, if it doesn't bleed, that means its a puncture wound, and you could get tetnus (scary!!)

EDIT: Don't go to an ER, they'll keep you there for like hours. Emergency rooms are for EMERGENCIES. A stapled thumb is NOT an Emergency.
Also, i suggest some antibiotic ointment, and maybe a bandaid.

*If the staple is in really deep, go to the doctors

Steps 1:
Get tweezers or use your fingers and pull staple out

Step 2:
Wash your thumb and put disenfectent on it

Step 3:
Put a bandage on it and your good to go :)

Good Luck, Hope this helps :)

I find it hilarious that the person who said "pull it out genious" thinks that she's a genius (no o) herself.

Just slowly pull it out yourself or have a physician do it. Make sure to wash the wound out afterwards and put a band aid on it if you're doing it yourself.

In case she somehow realizes what a dumbass she is, I took a screenshot of her stupidity: http://i13.tinypic.com/2yy2t0z.jpg

Insert a staple into your other thumb and fingers... that way, it will look like it was meant to be that way.

NO, don't do that.

Pull it out and STOP doing that.

Good luck and be careful

GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM OR THE HOSPITAL!!!
They will pull it out a certain way so you don't get an infection.
Then they will put some special medicine on it!
Hope you have had your shots

Pull it out with tweezers. If it is wedged deep in there, you can soften your skin with warm water. It will make removal easier and less painful.
