what is an easy way to introduce to male dogs... to live together?

There's several things you could do depending on the temperaments of the two dogs. If they're both pretty easy going, non-aggressive dogs, you could probably just separate them with a baby gate so they can see each other, get each other's scent, but not make contact. You'll be able to tell if they'll get along.

If they need more work, you need to not let them see each other at all. Let the new dog walk through a room without your dog there so his scent's in the room, then kennel him in a different room. Let your dog in to get his scent. You can then bring in a blanket the new dog was using to let yours get a better scent of him. Your new dog will already be picking up your other dog's scent because it's all through the house.

When both dogs accept the other's scent being there and don't react to it anymore, then you can introduce them through the gate and determine how they are.

If the dogs are neutered and friendly, you should have no problems.

Make sure the two dogs meet on neutural teritory first. If they are puppies they should be fine. I would consider neutring one or both of the dogs. I would neuture your dog first then after a week introduce the other one! dont give the new one more attention or the 1st one will get jealous! Hope this helps

take them to a place outside the home (like a park or something) to meet and interact, then bring them home and again, give them time to interact. If the new dog is smaller than the other, you can put the new dog in another room, and allow your 1st dog to smell him under the door, that way he gets used to the new dogs smell.

Hopefully they are not INTACT males and over the age of 6-8 months. Then it can be a real problem. I have 2 males and they are NEVER alone together.
