Yes, I saw that in the 2st BETA Version. I wonder why they didn't fix that. I guess Microsoft never gets it right the first time. If you want to go back to version 6, then try these instructions. I hope that they work for you.
Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and restore Internet Explorer 6 when using Windows XP or Windows Server 2003
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. You might have to CHECK the box that says SHOW UPDATES
4. Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
If you cannot find Internet Explorer 7 in Add or Remove Programs, click Start, click Run, type %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst... and then press ENTER.
For more information, check this page at the Microsoft website. http://msdn.microsoft.com/ie/releasenotes/
If you have further trouble, you might try the RESTORE thing in the System Tools folder and go back a few days before you made this terrible mistake.
Good luck

Check it out in a couple months.
Just remember the saying, "fools rush in where wise men fear to tread." It is not just an Elvis song, but words to live by.
If there are problems with it, a lot of people are going to be hit by them at once, without warning.
Also, since Internet Explorer - by Microsoft's own sworn oath - is part of the operating system and not simply a separate application, a problem in IE 7 ...is a problem in your computer's operating system.
Your operating system is what makes your computer system boot up, let you see/manage files, and run programs. Chances are you do not want to let those things stop happening.
Wait and see.
Let your friends run it, tell you about it, and show it to you. Let the magazines and web news sites collect reports about it, analyze it, and inform you what you need to do in order to install/use it safely.
Some issues came up the first day it was out. The browser has not been changed in four years, and this one is a big change of a delicate part of the computer. IE is interwoven into not only the OS, and the desktop, but many other programs by Microsoft and 3rd parties that you would think are "separate".
That includes Windows Help, Microsoft Office Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora Email, and many many others.
I included a link to a web page that lists the IE7 features.
My advice is to wait a couple of months. If you absolutely cannot wait that long, at least wait long enough to buy a lot of media and backup your important files, passwords, songs, passwords, and email onto CDs or DVDs - whatever backup media your computer supports.
Good luck, with either the waiting or the backups.

I somewhat have a a table accurate and a computer. both are slightly older than a year old, both have XP professional. Explorer 7 works advantageous on them. yet some human beings older structures using XP have suggested problems with the hot version. in case you would possibly want to opt to attempt a browser with very similar good factors as Explorer 7 try Firefox.

Hi
The first thing you do is Uninstall IE 7. It is lot of bugs and it behaves strangely while running the scripts. Just uninstall it. You will get back your Internet explorer 6.
Enjoy!!!

If it's your only tab open, it WILL close explorer. You might try checking with your options and if you don't see something there - you might want to try a re-install. I have installed it on 3 computers and do not have that problem on any of them.

Get Netscape 8.0, or Mozelle or firefox, Netscape wrote the code for Tabs and most of the other improvements in IE. I use IE for one thing, to update security in IE.

I don't have that problem but the browser's graphics up in the toolbar are all messed up.
Just switch to Firefox. It works a lot better.
