and yes, I do mean excepting, as in excusing. For instance, why does everybody have to love and protect children, except god who has no problem condemning them to burn in hell for all eternity? Why is everybody supposed to harass and persecute homosexuals except god who allowed King David into heaven? Why is everybody supposed to assume that sodomy is a sin, except god who smited the people of sodom for attempting to rape angels? Why is everybody supposed to force other people to live by their own set of rules, except god who supposedly could if he wanted to? Why is everyone supposed to know the will of god based on a book written by men, edited by kings, hand copied by scribes for centuries--Why is everybody supposed to allow the interpretations of this book to rule their lives, except god?

look for a religion that is less confusing become a Pagan,grow plants ,have lots of parties ,love everybody
no restrictions on species or gender.
and try to live in an Earthly paradise,by lots of work and weeding but you dont have to die first to be welcome and enjoy it
just bring a bottle ,Chablis or a nice Claret.
and there are lots of Gods to fit your moods

G-d doesn't condemn people, children especially, to hell. uou are not supposed to harass and persecute homosexuals. there is no such thing as a heaven for G-d to let King David into. people may think that homosexuality is a sin, but its simply ridiculous to think that G-d "smited" the people of sodom for homosexuality and trying to rape angels when even the bible says otherwise. you are not supposed to force people to live by your own set of rules - just be a good person and you will be fine. if you believe that the bible is a book written by men then don't believe in it, but just because you don't believe in the bible doesn't mean you have to reject the idea of G-d entirely.

Let God be God, there's a lot of things that are mysterious about Him. He knows what's best, not us.
