Can lifting heavy things (like a big amplifier) for a short time make you smaller?
Can a bad backbone position make your backbone feel uncomfortable making you smaller too?

Yes, for a short time. At the end of the day, after all of your running around, you can be up to an inch shorter than when you woke up. But it is only temporary until you have had the chance to rest and/or stretch out again.

ok first you mean smaller like height right? and not the other smaller ;) ok anyways if there is a bone out of alinement then yes it can be very pain full but won't cause you to shorten. and no lifting things that are heavy dosen't make you smaller.

No. People who do a lot of heavy work have back problems and tend to walk stooped over. This is like people who do concrete work 8 hours a day everyday.

I dont think that lifting heavy things can make you shorter. Your height has to do with your DNA.

No, but compression fractures of the vertebrae, osteoprosis, and spinal curvatures like scoliosis can.

i dont think so but there are some kind of diseases that can make you shorter
