so i came new to a school and guys like me and say im hot and stuff like that and i have lots of freind cuz i love meeting new ppl..i wear some make up and clear lipgloss to school..so one of my new freinds told me yesturday that a girl was telling everyone that i have a big head, i look like a brat and wear TOO MUCH makeup! some ppl say im pretty but i still have a low self esteem and dont see myself pretty...I have always thoght my head was a little big but my familly would say its not true and that im pretty...well my question is..is that girl jealous ?

ohh yes that happened to me too! I just moved to SC, and im new in school and all the guys are asking me out and everything. and i wear mascara, eyeliner, and lipgloss thats it! and soo many girls were saying i wear way too much make up! I was like omgg jealousy... it's really annoying. I just want to make friends! but it seems like they all just try to make fun of me just because the guys like me. ugh. don't worry i know how you feel=]

i'd say she was. but i don't know. maybe she was saying you portray yourself as being better than everyone else, since the phrase does have two meanings. and whoever reported it to you missed the connotation because they were too busy gossiping about what someone said about you instead of sticking up for you right then and there. who really knows? don't let it get to you because when you get older and your life has grown past this stage, that girl won't be thinking about you. don't carry the luggage of her problem. if she had to put you down, she needed something to lift her up. this one little fact hasn't changed over the course of history. people with low self-esteem have a habit of lashing out at others to make themselves look and feel better no matter how confident they may seem. keep your head up.

Listen...the best thing to do...is be the bigger person. Go up to this suspected person and introduce yourself to her. Tell her that you heards some things, but that you don't believe them. Tell her that you'd like to be her friend.
You say you like to meet people - well here is a huge changelled for you. Make this person like you...and show her that you are a friendly girl. This will help out your self-esteem.
Good Luck. I know changing schools can be a horrible thing...trust me I did it 11 times from elementary to high school. Each time I moved, I left behind friends and had to reinvent myself. You'll do fine. My senior year I made drill team and had lots of friends.

Eh, child, this kind of attitude is going to get you no respect. How shallow and fickle are you? There's a difference between having good self-esteem, and then coming off as a pretentious snob. Try being less absorbed in your looks and more in developing a good character.

Yeah! She's totally jealous, plus, she wants attention from everyone else because all the attention are on you. Anyways, ego is your self-esteem; your feeling of pride in your superiority to others.

Whether this girl is jealous or not is beside the point. You have to feel good about yourself and the way that you act. Make sure that you are being the best you and you can be and find friends that value you and your best qualities!

You know Tyra Banks is always joking about her big head and look where she is today. Don't mind what people say about u if they weren't talking about u than worry because that means they don't care. She is most likely jealous but take what she said in stride and enjoy all your compliments...

Yes , anytime a new kid comes to school and gets attention it will make some jealous. Don't worry about her . Be you and either she will like you or she wont. and it doesn't matter if she doesn't because she is a jealous brat..
