There are plenty of shipping companies that can handle that for you. Cost depends upon size for the most part. Around US $ 800 - $1,300 for a typical vehicle for drayage and ocean freight. That doesn't include insurance.
As to preparation, there must be no leaks of any type -- oil, fuel, coolant, etc. There cannot be any trace of soil or dirt anywhere on the vehicle including the undercarriage. All fluids must be serviced to operating levels except fuel which must be less than 1/4 tank. (Ignore the advice to drain the fluids! The car will be driven onto the ship and must be fully operational!) The cooling system must be serviced to protect to at least -20 F or your insurance will not cover freeze damage.
Most importaltly, the vehicle must conform to Canadian specifications. Canada has no provisions for the import or conversion of non-conforming vehicles whatsoever. A non-conforming vehicle arriving at a Canadian port will be impounded.

it relies upon on the place you're stationed to despite if or no longer the protection tension will deliver it for you. some places won't have it approved. additionally in case you do have the motor vehicle financed then the financial employer has to furnish you a letter asserting it somewhat is permitted to depart the country to tutor the delivery corporation in any different case they won't enable it. terrific guess is to attend till you get there. maximum posts/bases have a motor vehicle lot on the backside the place different protection tension individuals/civilian are merchandising their automobiles oftentimes at a decrease priced fee. this is best for you. in case you do purchase a motor vehicle distant places and the shipment of automobiles is permitted then sure they are going to help you deliver it back at their value.
