2 females have recently been in heat

I have observed that Chihuahuas are rather horny dogs. and if he is around the 2 females in heat, he's rearing to go 24/7. Separate the dogs physically and visually- put pad diapers on the girls and wait it out. If he's never had such an issue when being horny, a vet visit can only do good.- he could have a disturbance in the glands. If he 's in pain, take him ASAP! I wish you well!

Our dachshunds have done that. Since they were 4 months old. It's just their testosterone and he has the urge to want to mate. So they walk around the house with "it" hanging out. Some dogs have that problem and some don't. It will eventually go down on its own after about 10-15 mins or so depending on the dog. Although, once we had our two neutered it quit happening. If he's not fixed you might want to consider it but otherwise its not something serious to worry about. If your still having problems on a day to day basis check with your vet for advice.

haha its normal my dog is fixed and he still wants to hump dogs and he stills gets that around he's penis it looks like an extra set of testicals. Male dogs get that when they are exited or when they want to get with a girl dog.

well if your dog is NOT fixed then it might be wanting to "get" with a female and ..well u know. any way if it is ...then I would go and get your dog checked at the vets.

If he seems uncomfortable, take him to a vet asap. If not, wait a bit longer and see if it gets better.
