Ok I went to the doctor two weeks ago and i was told i was not pregnant. That was a week after my husband left for offshore. I took a home pregnancy test this morning and it showed positive...is it possible that it was too early for my doctor to tell if i am pregnant?

i went to the dr. before my missed period for other reasons and since i had to have a urinalysis i asked to be checked for pregnancy.
My period is now 7 days delayed, hince the home pregnancy test.
Just wanted to clerify that part.
And yes being pregnant would be a wonderful thing, we have been trying for months but its hard since he is gone for 28 days at a time.

It depends how late your period is. I went to the doctor 6 days delayed and he could just about see it. I went a month later and he said '' I told you you were pregnant?? I dont see anything!''
It turned out I was though after an internal ultrasound.
You can get a blood test, thats the surest way to know if you are.

yeah its possible that it was too early. Im unsure of what the answer should be here given that you are now pregnant. You should go back to the doctor and tell him and ask for another test. If that positive, congrats!

Yes it is possible! A pregancy test rarely comes up with a false positive. It is more likely to have a false negative. Contact your doctor and have your hormone levels checked just to make sure.

yes it could of been some tests you can use before your period others you can use if your period is late i hope its what you want congratulations
