My better half wants to give it a go. How long does it last for?
Is it costly? Does it stain your clothing? Does it hurt? etc.
Any info on it is much appreciated!

Spray tanning is usually used for special occasions, It will only last about a week, and no, it's not very expensive. If you want to try it out to see how it looks, then here's some tips and tricks for you.

-Before you go, make sure you take a bath or shower and SCRUB your skin good. You don't want it to look blotchy.

-Wear clothes you don't care about, like an old T-shirt. It does stain.

-Do it towards the evening, then go home and go to sleep. Then the next morning take a shower and scrub your skin again, just in case there are some darker spots.

-It doesn't hurt, it's only about 5 mintues standing in a shower type room, and they'll spray a light mist on you.

It probably wont make too much of a difference in your skin tone, except make it a little warmer. Which is what you want, you don't want to come out orange! The people at the Tanning Salon will tell you what color is the best for your skin type! Good Luck!

not a lover of spray tan being a beautician i prefer doing it by hand.. st tropez is good and you can control it better.. you exfoliate the skin then you apply moisturiser on the skin paying more attention on the heels, elbows, knees and those which will tend to be more drier areas ..then you apply the tan and skim over the areas mentioned above mix the tan with a spot moisturiser if you want the tan to be light .it should last 4days- 1week if you moisturise daily after your shower it slightly gets on clothes what tan doesn't .and it doesn't hurt and hey you can even do it yourself for her ..lol
happy tanning

Great ! get a babyliss home spray kit..from Argos. for that quick tan ... lasts for a few days.. stand in the bath/shower and get your partner to skoosh you.. stand in front of a fan for a few minutes to let in dry in. it does stain you clothes a tad .. but normal washing and it comes out.. saves getting sore heads on the sunbed..
( I dont understand how the other's answering got "dead cells" ..they must have been getting sprayed with bleech..)
