i have been gambling for 15 years, i won 2.5 million 4 years ago, 300,000 10 years ago, made millions with my business, and now i have almost nothing left!

for the last 2 years i have been just making 1k a week and i still gamble. from slots to online poker. i can't stop. i just can't.

my biggest loss was 500.000 in one night at the casino.

but more than that, i hate everything around when i gamble.

what in the name of GOD is it going to take to stop thinking about gambling 24/7

i have a decent wife, a small child, okay business now, leased nice car, 50k left in the bank. why do i always want more?

i never thought of kiling myself but if it would arise, i would not try to stop it.

just today i lost 6k at party casino! i don't know what to do.

i can't stop. someone please tell me what the hell to do to get this misery off my head!

btw, when i won the 2.5 million, i played 11000 dollars worth of combos! pathetic!

thank you

First call up GA and go to a meeting. After you call them, email ALL the gambling sites you are a member of and tell them you have a problem and that they should close all your accounts.

These sites take it very seriously and they will close your account if you tell them you have a problem. That way you won't be able to play there again. Just deleting the software won't be enough since you might havet he urge to play again.

I know how you feel. Quitting gambling is very hard, don't let anyone tell you any different. There are a lot of programs out there like gamblers anonymous, but from what I have heard, sometimes they don't seem to help.
I think the first step to quitting is cutting back. I cut back on my gambling expenses quite a bit by playing at online casinos that offer free money for signing up. Of course, after the free money was gone I usually deposited a little there, but I also won money on the free cash that they gave me.
I know its not always good to introduce a gambler to new casinos, or new ways to gamble, but for me I found that this helped. I tried every way I could think of to quit, and it didn't happen, so instead I tried using online casinos that would give me 100% match deposits for my money.
Try doing this and lowering your bet a little. This way you can still get your gambling needs aroused, and maybe some day, you will be able to quit gambling completely.
I still gamble a bit, but the amount of my own money that I use has dropped drastically.

Check out this site for casinos that offer free cash with no deposit needed, and you can still win!!!

I hope this helps, instead of hindering your problem!!!!

Wow! Sounds like you really have an addiction problem. I don't think this forum is the best place to get real help; but, here goes. Have you tried gamblers anonymous? If not, it's a good place to start. Does your wife know? Are you a member of a church, synagogue, mosque, etc. --- any place of worship where you feel confident of getting nonjudgmental, definite help? I am saddened by the tone of self hate in your question. I know that there is a lot of guilt associated w/ addiction. But, the thing is if you could fix it by yourself, you would have done so already. Get help. Get it today. Please know that I will be praying for you because prayer helps.

Sir you got to stop this habbit, i guess you lost more than you earned, if not be out of this before you come to such situation.

You should not sucide. You have a nice family to take care of, Do spend time with the family, take them out, Go on trips. show them you love them very much.

If you use your logical mind you will be sure to know that you lossing more than you gain. You are a good man otherwise you wouldn't suspect what you do is write or wrong.

Now you need more courage and self confidende when the desire to go gambling you would not go. Pray God to help you out of this gambling. Take care of your family and yourself

I can relate with ya bro..Except the 2.5 mil. win.
What helps me .. is finding something else to do that gives me Adrenalin rushes. (Like gambling does) Dirt bike, Quad, Drags
