It is called plastic surgery because the word 'plastikos' in Greek means 'to shape or to mould'. It has nothing to do with the material, plastic. HTH : )

I think to be truthful that any person that goes though with it and isnt happy enough with themselves and has to aulter themselves via plastic surgery are fake and they become even more fake aka plastic once they get it done they should love themselves for who they are idk just how I feel.
