How often take a dog for pee and pooh?

I have 2 big dogs staying inside the house. They go to the backyard to play, pee and pooh. One of the dogs totally destroyed the grass. So, I decided to take them for quick walk for pee and pooh. I take them for long walk to the park every morning.
How often take them for pee and pooh? Thx

i also have 2 big dogs...i dont know what type of dogs you have but i have 2 greatdanes....take them outside when ever you see that they are at the door...or just go whenever you just want ot get out...

I'd say 3-5 times per day depending on the dog.

When you say "destroyed" your yard, do you mean yellowing and killing the grass? If this is the case, you can easily fix that. You just need to see where they pee and when they do it, follow behind with a gallon of water to dilute the pee. This will keep it from killing the grass.

Big dogs = no grass in yard.
If your yard is important to you make a pen area for the dogs to play in so they can run and tear it up.
We have one third of our back yard in wood chip mulch fenced off for the dogs to be in and the rest is grass. They can be on the grass most of the time but if it is wet I keep them on the chips. Saves the grass and I still hve happy dogs.

i take mine for a walk 2-3 times a day. they always clean thereselves but also still do their business in my back garden to. your never going to beable to stop them peeing and pooing in your back yard unless every time they want to be out you take them for walkies which is silly. as for destroying your grass why not get rid of it and put flag stones or pebbles down its a lot easier to clean. at least their house trained.

they could probably do with a few walks a day, i take my two out 3 times. they wee and poo in a morn and in the evening, but happily wee lots on each walk. if you can do three walks its probably best.
they will also benefit from the exercise and all the exciting smells that they will sniff while you are out.

Big dogs usually have to be taken out once every 10 days. If you take them out more than once every 10 days then they will destroy grass.

i do no longer understand yet I take my canines out each time she runs to the door regardless if she has to easily pee or no longer, and he or she pees in my boyfriend's back backyard anyplace and my "mini" backyard as properly as strolling her down my block.
