After researching it online I just found out that I should have discontinued using Retin A 3-4 weeks before waxing. It makes your skin ultra-sensitive. Well, now I have these red burns on the sides of my upper lip! I've been appyling neosporin.... Any other ideas on what to put on it to get it to heal faster without any scarring?

Aloe Vera works wonders for all kinds of burns in my experience. There is a sunburn gel (Solarcaine I think -- anyway it is a dark green gel in the sunburn section at the drugstore) which contains a lot of Aloe Vera and I have had very good results with it, both for sunburns and for hot-item burns (from soldering irons, working on my car, etc.).

If you know someone who has an Aloe Vera plant, just breaking one of the leaves open and rubbing the juice from it onto the burn is the best.

I have the light blond hair on my upper lip that I can see and everybody else says that they can't. I usually go to Fantastic Sam's or one of the local hair salons to have my upper lip waxed. For $10 to $15 it is worth not having to inflict pain on myself or worry about following the instructions right.

I use Melaleuca to heal things quickly, usually with out a scar, but aloe vera works good too.
